Blueberry picking season is upon us, and it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t do something about that! Blueberry muffins are a fun breakfast treat in this house, and for years I just bounced around the internet, trying various recipes available. I discovered that they were all delicious. It’s really hard to screw up blueberry muffins. But they are typically made with oil. I don’t like using oil, when butter is a perfectly delicious option, so I set out to create the best blueberry muffins. 😉
Because, like my awesome Pioneer Woman butter dish states perfectly, Butter makes everything better. It’s true.
This fun butter dish is my new favorite kitchen accessory, because…well, it is just plain fact. When have you ever not known this to be true?
I found mine at my local Wal-Mart, but it can also be found here on Amazon!
Best Blueberry Muffins
This looks so delicious! I love blueberries so this one would definitely be a hit for me. I love blueberries because they’re not too sweet. I would definitely prepare this. I would try using fresh blueberries. Do you think it would be okay if I put some raisins? Thank you.
We love blueberries too!! We have used fresh too, but I still freeze them slightly first, otherwise, they can mush up in the batter while stirring, if you’re not careful. 🙂 I don’t know about raisins, because I rarely put raisins an anything, but I can’t see how they’d be a problem! Maybe substitute some raisins in place of some of the blueberries to be sure you have enough batter to cover it all. Let me know how they turn out!
