Welcome! When I first began crocheting toys for Welcome! When I first began crocheting toys for my children, it was out of necessity. My husband was going back to school, and we had very little income. In fact, at that time I enrolled our children into the modeling program at the local Fisher Price studio. They paid in gift cards to their store, and we would save those up for birthdays and holidays. I wanted to be able to contribute to their gifts with handmade gifts as well, and discovered that there were not a ton of crochet toy patterns online at that time. So I began dabbling in designing my own! Because I know what it was like to have to rely on free patterns only, I’ve built my business on offering the majority of my patterns for FREE or at a low cost. I saw the increased use of electronics happening among small children and wanted to use my crochet designs to combat that trend.
