We are a family that loves our mac ‘n cheese. This is sort of an any and all type love. You can’t really go wrong. We’ve enjoyed all varieties from chili to Buffalo chicken, to creamy, to even Kraft from a box, and everything in between. Years of sampling different internet recipes has led me to this very basic and easy mac ‘n cheese recipe, that does not fail.

 

This recipe is sure to become a kid favorite in your house, as it is in ours! It is requested for almost every birthday, holiday, and random Tuesday. It is one of the only dishes that our youngest doesn’t fight us over. This is straight up, honest to goodness, comfort food, that brings people together. And it’s so much easier to make than people realize! There are really only 8 ingredients, and that’s accounting for the tiny amount of salt and pepper. Give Kraft a rest for the night. I promise you won’t regret it!

It would even make a great side for preparing in advance on an occasion involving many different dishes. Make it the day or two before your big Thanksgiving Day feast.
