Haven’t we all said that one weird or random thing, making an awkward first impression?

My purse from was about 3.25 inches. I first sewed about 30 sts together along the bottom, to sew the pieces together. This may vary, depending on your own personal gauge, but just make sure that the open space matches up with the frame. For sewing onto the frame, you can use thread or thread yarn. If you’re wondering just how durable this is with ordinary thread, I used old thread, handed down to me from my grandmother. I sewed over the holes 2 times. When I wanted to tear it out, and try something different with the pattern, it took a lot of muscle…and a box cutter! So feel confident in whatever you have on hand, just double or triple it up if it’s thinner!

1. My purse from was 3.25 inches. I sewed about 30 sts together along the bottom to sew the pieces together.

2. Just be sure that the sts left open fit your frame.

3. Press your sides up into the frame as best as you cane. It will begin to stick better as you sew it.

4. I used thread, and to make it more durable, I went through each space 2 times. Go in from the back, through the yarn AND the frame hole, then back through the rnd below of the yarn. I kept mine centered between 3 holes, and 5 holes in the center.

Don’t forget to add the little black seeds! I just sewed in some black yarn around the pink of the watermelon.
I still plan to try to line mine, with some cute watermelon fabric, so I will keep you posted, but wanted to get the crochet part of this pattern out for y’all!
