Mermaid Crochet Patterns
This post contains links to some of my most popular mermaid crochet patterns! Most of them are free! My crocheting mermaid friends can make anything from bags to dolls, inspired by the love of mermaids! Have fun!
I had such a blast creating all of these mermaid crochet patterns, and watching you all enjoy them! I hope you will share pictures with me as you complete them!
1. Mermaid Tail ChapStick Holder (free)
This is a super fun pattern, and works up very quickly! These are great low price points for your shop or craft show, great for yarn scraps because they don’t use much, and they are incredibly useful! I haven’t lost my ChapStick all month! Yay!
2. Mermaid Ripple Purse OR Backpack (free)
This was a pattern that had been floating around in my head for months! When I set to making it, it came together quickly and easily! Truthfully, I did intentionally design the strap in this way so there was a place for that Mermaid Tail ChapStick Holder! It has since been updated with a backpack option!
3. Pocket Princess Ariel (free)
How could I let a whole month full of mermaids pass by without making the most famous mermaid of all?! Ariel has always been my favorite Disney Princess, and I always loved the Kiss the Girl scene, so I had to recreate a fun, teeny tiny version of her!
4. Chastity Mermaid Lovey Dolls (paid, found on Ravelry or Etsy)
This unique take on a mermaid doll, combines a rag doll with a fleece lovey blanket, and is great for so many things! She has no stuffing, making her easily washed. These mermaid loveys are fun and imaginative security blankets the perfect size for cuddles, play, and travel! Updated to include two different size loveys!
